Purpose and eligibility
You are invited to a behavioural science study investigating how sustainable habits develop, persist and change. The 2026 panel recruits participants aged 16-45.
What you will do
You will receive one notification every 14 days over 10 weeks. Each of five waves contains a brief five-question visual survey and takes approximately 45 seconds.
Risks, benefits and compensation
The study presents minimal risk, mainly the inconvenience of reminders or reflection on daily habits. There is no physical or medical intervention and no financial compensation. You may receive a behaviour summary and, after completing all waves, a research contribution certificate.
Privacy, confidentiality and storage
Email addresses are used only for authentication and study notifications and are stored separately from survey responses. Access is restricted to authorised research personnel. Published results contain no personally identifiable information.
Anonymous data may be retained for academic research, replication and open-science purposes. Identifiable authentication data will be deleted after it is no longer required.
Voluntary participation and withdrawal
You may stop at any time without penalty. You may request removal of identifiable responses before irreversible anonymisation. Once responses have been irreversibly anonymised, individual removal may no longer be possible.
Independent ethical status
This is an independent student-led research project and is not currently affiliated with or reviewed by a university Institutional Review Board or Research Ethics Committee. It is designed around accepted principles of voluntary participation, confidentiality, informed consent and responsible data management.
