Privacy and research terms
Ecohance Lab is a longitudinal behavioral research panel. This page is a deployment-ready framework and must be reviewed by the study owner or ethics adviser before participant recruitment.
Information collected
We collect account details required to authenticate participants, timestamped consent records, and answers submitted during scheduled research waves. Public and analytical exports use participant identifiers rather than email addresses.
Purpose and lawful participation
Research responses are collected to study the intention–action gap in sustainable habits. Participation is voluntary. No wave can be submitted without an active consent record.
Retention and withdrawal
Participants may withdraw consent at any time. An administrator can anonymize account identifiers while preserving completed responses necessary for research integrity, subject to the final approved protocol.
Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Sessions use HTTP-only cookies, forms use anti-forgery tokens, database access uses prepared statements, and sensitive administrative actions are written to the audit ledger.
Participant terms
Participants confirm that their responses are their own and understand that submitted waves are timestamped and cannot be edited after submission. Missed waves remain missing to preserve the longitudinal timeline.
